Things to do in Rijeka!
+ I hear that a street called Korzo is the “lifeblood” of Rijeka – a good place to sit and watch the world go by!
+ You can walk to a small village called Kastav. It is a “old romantic village atop a hill” and has an amazing view over the bay. There is also a forest with walking trails!
+ If all goes well and I gain my PADI Open Water Scuba Diver qualification in September, then I am hoping to scuba dive in the Adriatic Sea!
+ There is also a Roman archway (Rijeka is built on the site of an Ancient Roman military fort)!
+ And of course plenty of museums!

Little known fact: The torpedo was invented in Rijeka.
